ACCESSIBLE YOGA
Yoga is in the sensation, not in the pose. The Sanskrit meaning of yoga is to “yoke” together your mind and body. Rather than doing what is considered a full expression of the pose, the true purpose of yoga is creating sensations through lines of energy going through the body. Through careful observation and connection, I am able to support students in creating the sensations of yoga for all people, meeting them where they are at.
Yoga is not limited to those who have full mobility in their body, it is available to everyone. I know personally what it is like to recover from an injury and surgeries. Having incredibly limited mobility, I was able to continue my practice through my recovery. Whether it is a medical condition, significant disability, scoliosis, or in some sort of recovery, I can support you in bringing a meaningful practice to you.
